Dramatis Personae

In order to introduce the members of the cast who will appear at times in this blog I need to explain the household and a few of those outside it…

Mater going to bed…

Mater

My mother is, in many ways, a challenge to a description. She walks to the beat of her own tomato, loves quizzes and disapproves of the demon drink – unless it’s in her own glass. She was a war baby so the cupboards are always full and that goes hand in hand with being a feeder. She loves Marple and Poirot, Rick Stein and Saturday Morning Kitchen. Her new crush is Richard Osman’s House of Games.

Ollie looking adorable

Ollie

Ollie is a Cavachon and is 3 years old. He is an adorable fur baby who likes to be with you all the time. He loves to chase a ball and barks at other dogs on the tv. He is a seasoned traveller who treats France as a second home.

Looby Lou

Looby Lou is our latest addition. She was rescued from a puppy farm in Ireland and was unused to being in a house or on a lead or just being outside. She is settling with us really well and adores my mother. She is also permanently hungry. She won’t give me the time of day unless I’m taking her out for a walk or I have food in my hand – then I’m all right. But other than that I’m someone to run away from at high speed.

Work Colleagues

On the whole I like my work colleagues who generally have a really good sense of humour and work really hard. Occasionally, however, they can be a right group of cranky arses. I suspect it depends on the phase of the moon.

If any one else pokes their heads into this blog I shall of course update you.
